Isabelle Textile Art   Using fleece collected from local sheep and alpaca and her own angora goats, Isabelle paints with each strand just as she would on a canvas in conventional art. The difference is that the pigments are naturally supplied by living animals. Brink's Organic Farm   Aard and Eve Brink operate a certified (NASAA 6122) organic market garden between Albany and Denmark at Lowlands and sell some of their produce and an organic pasta sauce at the Albany Farmers market in Collie Street. No synthetic fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides are used to grow their seasonal vegetables and fruit; guinea fowl help to control insects, weeding is done by hand or machine and the quality of the soil is maintained to help keep plant diseases at bay and produce healthy, tasty fruit and vegies that keep well.
